[July 29]

Despite the other day being so encouraging with so many people getting healed, freed, delivered, etc, yesterday was pretty discouraging. I feel like I am sowing seeds in rocky ground with this group of kids. I give out all that I know, but I see no change. It's like they don't hear us or don't care. I don't understand. I trust that God has a good plan for these kids whether it is now or many years down the road. I trust that I am being used in some way to further this His kingdom even if I cannot see it with my group of kids.

This afternoon after camp our team leaders encouraged us to write down things we have learned or things we want to change or do differently when we return home. Here's my list.

When I get home I WILL...
-meet with God each morning
-have an accountability partner to ask me/encourage me about my quiet times
-seek ways in which I can serve others
-spend my time and money wisely, in ways that glorify the Lord
-remember the need to be mission focused
-talk about the Lord more with my family and friends
-stretch myself in ways that I am reminded of my need for the Lord and my inability to do anything without Him
